Going, Going, Gone: Art in the Age of Extinction

My latest work addresses climate change and denial. Over several months, I collaborated with Karen R. Schroeder of Santa Barbara, CA. on a 8 foot by 7 foot woodcut. Our piece consist of two trees leaning towards each other as if in conversation about climate change and humans denial of it. We’ve incorporated text into the leaves, trunks, and roots of the trees from our readings on the crisis.

The work will be shown in Going, Going, Gone: Art in the Age of Extinction at Studios On the Park in Paso Robles, CA. September, 2017
